First of all, may we say how sorry we are that you find yourself in the position of needing support. Baby loss is known as the last taboo, and you can feel very isolated even though you may have family and friends around you. We support parents and families through the heartbreak of baby loss at any stage, though we deal mainly with late miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal death.
We have tried to create a website that is as straightforward as possible that provides you with all the support you need, but that also gives you practical advice and help to make this time as gentle as possible.
In this section, you will find information on our support group meetings and the support we can offer.
There is a selection of our favourite poems and quotes and a practical advice section. Here you will find information that can help guide you through this sad time.
If you don’t find what you need or if you would like any more help or information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
OUR ANGELS ADVICE SECTION
One of the most important aspects of what we do is the running of our support group meetings.
They give parents and families a safe environment where they can talk about the child they have lost without fear of being judged or simply not being understood.
Our commitment to providing midwives and other health professionals with the opportunity for bereavement training is an absolute core part of our ongoing strategy.
This is an immensely challenging situation for any midwife or health professional to find themselves in.
