At Our Angels, we’re dedicated to supporting families during the most challenging moments of their lives. That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly to provide the Maternity Unit at Harrogate District Hospital with specialised equipment, enabling families to cherish invaluable time with their beloved babies, even after they have passed away.
One of the essential pieces of equipment we’ve provided is a cuddle cot – a comforting haven that cradles babies in gentle repose. This cot can be placed in a Moses basket or nestled under a baby while being held, offering a serene environment for families to create lasting memories.Â
Utilising a cooling effect, the cuddle cot helps preserve the delicate state of the baby, allowing parents to spend precious hours in quiet reflection and tender moments of bonding.
The Sonicaid Audio Doppler, has a high sensitivity 2MHz fixed probe and excellent audio quality, which ensures easy and reliable detection.
Measuring an unborn baby’s heart rate is a very good way of checking their health during labour and birth. A normal heart rate can reassure healthcare professionals that it is safe to continue labour if no other problems are present. On the other hand, an abnormal heart rate may be a sign that a baby is in difficulty and needs help to be delivered safely.Â

- There is the familiar green, amber and red traffic light system, making CO levels instantly identifiable to patients.

- The Smokelyzer offers an unprecedented view of the internal effects of smoking by using the traffic light results system for both the mum-to-be and the baby.
